Did not get the name of the electricians. These installers/technicians are very competent and thorough. They put down drop cloths and work booties to ensure that our floor stayed clean and undamaged. They were always pleasant and knowledgeable to talk to.”

“We had DR COOL put in a furnace, ductwork and AC heat pump. They called and said they had to come back out to change out the furnace because they put is one that was too small which the electrician had already approved the electrical. When they put in the bigger furnace they didn’t call back out the electrician. Now we are blowing breakers and GFI. We called then back out and they said that there’s nothing wrong with the vents that they put in. We have more dirt then ever in out house from the ducts. I have never seen so much dirt from a furnace”

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, when we installed your system, we also installed an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) REME HALO LED, this is an advanced air purification technology designed to improve indoor air quality. It utilizes a combination of UV light, ionization, and activated carbon to eliminate airborne contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, mold, and odors. The UV light reacts with the titanium dioxide coating on the system’s cell, creating hydroxyl radicals that neutralize pollutants. Meanwhile, ionization assists in gathering airborne particles together, which makes them easier to catch in the filter, from your observation, it’s clear that ionization is doing its job effectively enhancing the filter’s performance, however, a potion of the particles do end up on surfaces, while activated carbon traps and absorbs odors. Overall, the REME HALO LED system helps to create a healthier and more comfortable indoor environment by effectively purifying the air.

There are many sources of dust particles, such as, outdoor pollutants, human and pet dander, and skin cells, therefore we installed a high capacity media filter in your system.  Additionally,  inefficient filtration systems or lack of regular maintenance can exacerbate dust buildup, proper maintenance and media filter changes, including regular cleaning and the use of air purification systems like REME HALO, can help mitigate dust accumulation and improve indoor air quality.

Since 2022, there has been no record of maintenance calls for your system, and you were not invoiced for any such visit during that time. In an effort to remedy this situation and to assist you, we would like to extend a one-time free maintenance including a high quality media filter.

“I called to get a quote for a gas furnace/air conditioning unit replacement or repair because my air conditioner was going out and it all was almost 19 years old. Salesman Ty came to my house and checked out my equipment he suggested a full replacement with all electric air handler and heat pump with 96% efficiency rating. I decided on the Daiken, it was not an inexpensive decision but I didn’t want a bandaid fix with my old system that was only 80% efficiency and natural gas prices expected to increase. Ty got me a quick install date and the 2 man crew Todd and Dave that came out for the work were on time courteous, friendly and super meticulous. I really couldn’t ask for more with these guys but like I said before this was not inexpensive, but I consider it an investment in my home.”

“Dr. Cool-Heat had originally installed our furnace back in 2007. We decided that we needed air conditioning added. Mark & Ty came to our house in July of 2022 and spent half of a day educating us on a variety of air conditioning options. They were both very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. My wife Lori and I both felt like they listened to our description of our needs and helped guide us to the best product & service for our situation. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that we only had to wait about 2-3 weeks until our installation. Today, August 8, 2022 was our installation day. Mick and Danny arrive early in the morning and both were very personable, friendly, and did a quick review of the process for installation. Once we had decided on a few routing options, both of them got busy and stayed busy all day. Ty came to our house about an hour or two after our installation crew arrived to check initial progress and review the installation process again. Right before Ty arrived Todd came to our house, he was also friendly and jumped right in to assist Danny & Mick. Our two electricians Alex & A.J. arrived about noon and were very friendly and worked very hard despite very hot temperatures in our garage and attic. The whole crew finished up around 3:30 pm and they all did a great job of cleaning up, making sure the system was working properly, and they were friendly and took time to say goodbye. Mick did a nice job of wrapping up the day by explaining & demonstrating the proper use of our new thermostat. It was a very good experience and we would definitely give them a great recommendation.”

“The complete process was amazing! The install was done in a very professional manner, everyone wore Protective Mask because of COVID-19. I was really comfortable, they also were very conscientious of how close they would get to me and my wife they maintained at least 6’ distance and they always had their mask on. When entering the home they wore protective shoe covering. I guess the real question is would we use Dr Cool again? Absolutely We would Only use Dr Cool! Nick, David and Todd we very friendly answered all our questions about the install and how to use the new system. “This was the first time I have purchased a heating system, and it was a breeze. Mark was exceptionally patient with my 5 million questions (and ongoing issues with my email). I had multiple estimates, and unfortunately the others assumed that since I was not familiar with the products, they could take advantage. Mark made sure that I got a great product that fit my needs and stayed in my budget.

When it came to delivery day, I was a little worried. We have multiple projects going on in our garage (others may call it a mess) and we did our best to make a path for them to work. They did not complain once, and were even respectful of our piles of junk. They were very efficient and despite running into a couple of hiccups, they had no problem adapting and getting everything done.

“I decided that another summer with a window air conditioner wasn't gong to work for me! I used the Pierce County telephone directory to look up a Heating & A/C Contractor. I called 2 & 1 returned my call. He came to my home to give me a bid, but wasn't very helpful in explaining things. “Recently we discovered our heat pump was not working. We first contacted Dr. Cool on Tuesday evening and by Friday afternoon our new heat pump and electric furnace was installed and operable. Mark spent a number of hours guiding us through our options. Nick was here on Wednesday afternoon, all day Thursday, and all day Friday. Todd and David came first thing Friday morning with the 3 guys completing the new installation by Friday afternoon. Our installers were professional and pleasant, and didn’t seem to mind that they were working in the water heater closet of our cramped guest bathroom. They quickly, and carefully removed the old water heater and installed the new one without any damage to the room, which was no small feat given the cramped conditions, and size of the water heater. They took the time to test everything thoroughly, and clean up the area after they were done. The team in the office contributed to the ease of this process, and we also want to thank them. Scheduling was on-time. Payment was accurate and easy. Thank you Doctor for the house call, and the hot water!”

“The heating furnace in our home was not working this morning and so I called Dr. Cool. Luckily they had a service tech available due to someone else’s cancellation. Sean showed up approximately 1 hour after I called. After his assessment he had to go and pick up a part (motor) which he didn’t have on him. Upon his return it was only a matter of minutes and the heater started up. We would definitely recommend their service.”

“Dr. Cool Heating & Air Conditioning, located in Sumner, WA is a quality and honest business. We had two other service companies take a look at our air conditioning problem. Both gave us bad repair info and very costly estimates. Thank goodness we pressed on and got a third opinion from Dr. Cool Heating & Air Conditioning. The service tech took an in-depth look and discovered it was a simple fix; just needed to replace a capacitor. He was in and out quickly but took the time to check everything out thoroughly. The other companies wanted to spend thousands for the fix, even suggested replacing the entire system. It was actually a couple hundred dollars for a proper fix. We were incredibly happy with this company. When we need Service or a new furnace and/or air conditioning we will certainly use Dr. Cool Heating and Air Conditioning.”

A bit of miss-communication or planning since the unit position wasn't initially installed at discussed location with rep.. Unit main piping now has 2 right angles into it.
Rep. did not present proof of insurance as requested by client.
Rep. did not present proof of permitting as requested by client.
Was on the impression that rep. was also making sure with HOA that the unit location would be OK and not special permit and project presentation would be done. That's because each HOA has it ways.
Great team. Great rep.
To improve:
1) Communication with HOA's;
2) Communication with client; (Rep. should have checklist of client requests)
3) Rep – Team communication and installation planning.
Here the Rep or a senior installation team member is responsible of full installation as per planning.
4) Real planning of installation not to have surprises.”
